CORAL SWIMSUIT

Another favorite from Simkoos’ Heatwave Collection is this bathing suit. I love it for Sims, but I wouldn’t recommend it in real life—those criss-cross strings across the chest will definitely leave tan lines all summer long.

one-piece with cut-outs

This one just barely qualifies as a one-piece with all those cut-outs! 😂 It’s from a swimsuit collection by Vixonspixels.

monsoon swimsuit

From the Pool Party set by Joliebean, this one-piece is perfect for older adult Sims looking for something “age-appropriate” or for moms who want a bit more coverage while playing with their kids at the beach!

bandage one-piece

This one-piece from Vixonspixels’ swimsuit collection is perfect for my wealthier Sims—it has a designer, high-end look that suits their style.

80’s Swimsuit

This ’80s-inspired one-piece by Gvbe is fantastic with its variety of swatches. It was tough to choose a favorite, but this dusty blue shade complements my Sim’s skin tone perfectly. In red, it definitely channels that classic Baywatch vibe!

miranda swimsuit in purple

Yes, you’ve seen this one before, but I just can’t get enough of it! The quality is amazing, and this purple pattern was too stunning not to share.

cassie swimsuit in neutral

Here’s a different swatch of the Euphoria-inspired swimsuit. I adore it in this neutral shade—it looks fantastic on all Sims, particularly those with darker skin tones!

sand dollar swimsuit

I really like this one-piece for Sims who prefer a more modest yet still cute look. The ribbon ties on the shoulders and the textured appearance are charming details. It’s from the Heatwave Beachwear Collection by Simkoos.

flower cut-out swimsuit

I think the combination of brown and blue gives off a perfect early 2000s (Y2K) vibe. It’s super cute and also available as a bodysuit!

striped miranda swimsuit

When I first saw this swatch, it immediately brought to mind old money and the coastal granddaughter aesthetic. I can easily picture the Bjergsen women wearing this!

coco swimsuit

A classic one-piece by Black Lily that looks great on any Sim! I’ve had this in my game for years, and it’s my go-to choice when I need something quick and stylish.

mojito swimsuit

I’m almost certain I had a Barbie from the ’80s or ’90s with this exact tropical pattern bathing suit when I was a child. I absolutely love it! It’s from the Hello Summer Collection by Trillyke.

miranda swimsuit

This gingham pattern is perfect for your cottagecore Sims! I can easily imagine every female Sim in Henford-on-Bagley owning one of these.

cassie swimsuit

This one-piece is from the Euphoria Collection by Serenity. Inspired by season 2 of Euphoria, this bathing suit has become a must-have for my influencer Sims!

blue lemonade swimsuit

An adorable pink one-piece by Trillyke that I love using on my teen Sims!

maresia coveruP

How cute is this oversized button-down over a bikini?! I’m obsessed with the Vacanza Collection by Serenity. It features some of the best CC swimsuits I’ve ever seen—they’re all incredibly versatile, and I highly recommend downloading the entire collection.

Sunkissed bikini

Part of Joliebean’s Cruise Collection, this bikini exudes a Hawaii vibe with its hibiscus flowers and even has a touch of Y2K flair. It’s absolutely stunning and perfect for my girly Sims!

truly basic swimsuit

I love using this swimsuit by Myshunosun for my more athletic Sims or even for alternative Sims with lots of tattoos.

hadia swimsuit

I’d describe this bikini as luxurious yet sensual. I can easily imagine a wealthy Sim purchasing it from an upscale designer brand and lounging by their fancy pool in it. It was created by Madlen.

brisa bikini in black

Once again, from the Ipanema set by Caio—just get the entire CC pack. Trust me.

thea bikini top and bottom

Another must-have from Trillyke! This piece is part of a collection inspired by Instagram models, so get your Sims ready for a photoshoot!

eternal sunshine bikini

From Trillyke’s Hello Summer CC Collection, this strawberry-themed strappy bikini is perfect for teenage Sims!

heatwave bikini

I’ve had this swimsuit from Kumikya in my Sims game for years—it’s a staple in my CC folder that I use ALL. THE. TIME.

miranda bikini

This bikini by Serenity is both cute and classy—perfect for a Sim on their honeymoon.

nalubie swimsuit bandeau version

Once again, this bikini gives off that 2014 Triangl vibe, and I think it’s adorable. It’s by ManueaPinny.

patterned nami swimsuit v1

This pattern has a completely different vibe from the others. The swimsuit is incredibly versatile and, in my opinion, a total must-have.

ocean bikini top and bottom

This might be one of my favorite swim CC patterns! Its tropical colors are perfect for Sulani, and I’d love to have it in real life. It’s from the Sunkissed Collection by Caio.

girly nami swimsuit v1

The non-textured Nami swimsuit by Boschiana CC is a staple I’ve featured multiple times due to its fantastic swatches. This version is especially girly and cute!

elaine sarong swimsuit

This is another piece from Sentate’s swim collection. I adore the sarong and can easily picture my Sim wearing it while staying at a beachside resort!

yelena bikini top & bottom

This textured swimsuit by Caio is so cute! I especially love the pink peach swatch—it looks incredibly realistic!

nalubie: hot summer bikini set

This one is by ManueaPinny. Many of the swatches remind me of the viral Triangl colorblock swimsuits from the early 2010s, and I love it! Plus, the little tie in the back is a perfect detail!

brisa bikini

This CC bikini by Caio, part of a larger CC pack, is so incredibly cute! I love it so much that I included it again on this list with a different swatch!

tara bikini cover up

This bikini and cover-up combo by Sentate is STUNNING! It’s definitely a favorite of mine for beach photoshoots.

This bikini by Madlen is inspired by Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS collection.

nossy swim set

This bikini by Boschiana CC has amazing texture that almost borders on alpha but still blends seamlessly with my Maxis Match CC. I especially love the knotted bandeau top!

MEN’S CAPSULE WARDROBE FOR A EUROPEAN VACATION

I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately to share a Men’s European Vacation Capsule Wardrobe! Traveling through Europe can be tricky when it comes to figuring out what to wear. Europeans are known for their impeccable style, and Americans sometimes fall short in comparison. Plus, with limited suitcase space, you have to be strategic about what you bring. While I’m not traveling to Europe this summer, this is exactly what I would pack! These versatile pieces will have you covered for a variety of activities, from casual outings to more elevated events.

The beauty of this capsule wardrobe is the ability to mix and match items to create numerous outfit combinations! I’ve highlighted some pairing ideas below, but the possibilities are far greater. That’s the essence of a capsule wardrobe: nearly every piece can be styled together to achieve the look you’re going for.

Basic t-Shirts

The basics are the foundation of any great capsule wardrobe! For a European summer, the key is focusing on breathability, comfort, and versatility. A white Buck Mason Pima Classic Tee is an essential base layer that works with almost any outfit. To add a subtle touch of color, I’ve included a navy Madewell Garment Dyed Allday Crewneck T, which is perfect for layering. And of course, if you want even more layering options, a classic wife-pleaser tank top is a must-have for those warmer days or as an underlayer for cooler evenings.

Linen Shirts

When the temperatures rise and comfort becomes a priority, linen is my go-to fabric! Its breathable nature makes it the ideal summer material, and its natural wrinkles add to that relaxed, effortless European vibe. The striped Linen Oxford Shirt from Everlane is a great option for staying cool while adding texture to your outfit. And of course, you can never go wrong with a classic white Linen Shirt—it’s timeless, versatile, and perfect for any summer occasion!

Linen Shorts

No surprises here—linen continues to be the go-to fabric! The Linen Blend pull-on shorts are ideal for a comfortable day of exploring or sightseeing. Another fantastic option is the Lino Short from Banana Republic in stone grey, offering both style and breathability. For a more elevated look, the pleated linen shorts from J. Crew provide a roomy fit with a polished, sophisticated vibe, making them perfect for dressing up while staying cool.

Camp Collars

Camp collar shirts are an incredibly versatile staple that should be in every summer vacation wardrobe! You can wear them open with a wife-pleaser and swim trunks for a laid-back look, or button them up with linen pants for a stylish evening outfit. The powder blue Camp Collar from Madewell is a great pop of color, perfect for destinations like the French Riviera or the Amalfi Coast. For added texture, the striped resort shirt from Banana Republic is another standout piece that will elevate your vacation style effortlessly!

Sweater Polos

I can’t resist a good sweater polo! It’s the perfect way to instantly elevate your outfit for a dinner out in the city. Despite being a woven sweater, it remains breathable, making it ideal for warm European summer nights. Two pieces that I’m eyeing to add to my wardrobe are the Cotton Linen Resort Shirt and the Plisse Johnny Collar Sweater Polo. Both offer a stylish, polished look while keeping you comfortable in the summer heat.

Swim Trunks

The Pull-On Seersucker swim trunk from Abercrombie is hands down my favorite swimwear option! The fit is just right, and the comfortable liner makes all the difference. With a wide variety of patterns and colors available, you can easily find the perfect pair to match your personal style. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or taking a dip in the sea, these trunks are a must-have for any summer wardrobe!

Linen Pants

For comfort and breathability, linen pants are unbeatable! They offer a naturally dressier look than shorts, making them perfect for an elevated dinner, a sunset cruise, or a cooler day. The Pull-On Traveler Pant from Banana Republic has quickly become one of my summer favorites. With a comfortable drawstring waistband, they’re especially forgiving after indulging in too much pasta! For a classic summer vibe, the Straight Linen Blend Pant in cream is another great choice, adding that perfect light and airy feel to your wardrobe.

Accessories

Accessories are essential for any vacation wardrobe! When packing for your trip, opt for minimal accessories that each serve a purpose. Sunglasses are a must-have to protect your eyes from the sun, while a hat is crucial for staying cool during long days of exploring. Don’t forget a stylish watch—it not only keeps you on schedule but also adds a touch of flair to your outfit. Thankfully, there are plenty of affordable options, so you can wear them with confidence while traveling without worrying about damage!

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, a well-curated men’s capsule wardrobe for a European vacation can significantly enhance your travel experience. By focusing on versatile, breathable, and comfortable pieces, you can create a range of stylish outfits suitable for various activities, from casual sightseeing to elevated dinners. Essential items like linen shirts, breathable shorts, and stylish swim trunks allow for easy mixing and matching, while layering options like shirt jackets and sweaters ensure you’re prepared for changing temperatures. Minimal yet purposeful accessories, such as sunglasses and hats, complete your look while providing functionality. With this thoughtfully assembled wardrobe, you’ll be ready to explore Europe in style and comfort, allowing you to fully enjoy your adventure!
