WATERMELON SLUSHIE RECIPE (ONLY 4 INGREDIENTS!)

When the temperatures soar and the humidity kicks in, there’s nothing better than relaxing by the pool with a refreshing drink in hand. Today, I’m excited to share a simple, delicious, and healthy Watermelon Slushie recipe with you – made with just four ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 10 cups Seedless Watermelon Cubes, frozen for at least 24 hours
  • 2–4 tbsp Maple Syrup*
  • Juice of 1 large Lime
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint or Basil leaves, loosely packed (optional, but recommended)
  • 1 1/2 cups Filtered Water (see notes for a fun substitution!)

Instructions

  • Allow the frozen watermelon chunks to sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to slightly defrost.
  • In a high-speed blender, combine the watermelon, 2 tbsp maple syrup, lime juice, mint (if using), and water.
  • Pulse the blender until the watermelon begins to break apart, then blend until you achieve a thick, slushie consistency. Taste and adjust the maple syrup, adding more if needed. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water to reach your desired texture.
  • Pour into 4 glasses, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don’t have a blender with a tamper, a food processor works great for this recipe.
  • About half of a medium-to-large seedless watermelon will yield the amount needed for this recipe.
  • Adjust the maple syrup based on the sweetness of your watermelon. Start with 2 tbsp and increase by 1 tbsp increments as needed.
  • Maple syrup can be swapped for any sweetener of your choice.
  • For a fun twist, swap the filtered water for flavored sparkling water!

VIRGIN BLUE HAWAIIAN MOCKTAIL

Let’s make a refreshing Virgin Blue Hawaiian Mocktail! This vibrant, tropical drink bursts with citrus, pineapple, and coconut flavors—perfect for a deliciously cool sip you’ll absolutely love!

INGREDIENTS

For the Drink:

  • Ice cubes
  • 1 ounce Blue Curaçao Syrup (2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 ounce Cream of Coconut (1 tablespoon)
  • 3/4 ounce Fresh Lime or Lemon Juice (1 1/2 tablespoons)
  • 2 1/2 ounces Pineapple Juice (5 tablespoons)
  • 2–4 ounces Sparkling Water or Coconut Water (1/4–1/2 cup)

For Garnish:

  • Pineapple slices or leaves
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Lime or lemon slices
  • Cocktail umbrella or edible flowers

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Prepare the Glass: Fill a 10–12 ounce glass with ice cubes.
  • Mix the Ingredients: In a separate container, combine the Blue Curaçao syrup, cream of coconut, fresh lime or lemon juice, and pineapple juice. Stir gently with a straw or cocktail stirrer until well mixed. Pour the mixture over the ice.
  • Top it Off: Add sparkling water or coconut water for a refreshing finish.
  • Garnish & Serve: Decorate with a slice of pineapple, lime or lemon, an edible flower, maraschino cherry, or a fun cocktail umbrella. Enjoy!

NOTES

  • Use Blue Curaçao Syrup, Not Liqueur! To keep this drink alcohol-free, be sure to use Blue Curaçao syrup and avoid the alcoholic Blue Curaçao liqueur.
  • Understanding Cream of Coconut: This is a sweetened cocktail mixer, sometimes labeled as Crème de Coconut. It is different from canned coconut milk or coconut cream. If you prefer an unsweetened version, you can use coconut cream or coconut milk, but the drink will be less sweet and have a milder coconut flavor.
