Salmon fillets cook perfectly in an air fryer, creating a flavorful meal when seasoned with herbs and paired with greens and grains.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp garlic granules (optional)
- 4 salmon fillets (about 130g each), skin on or removed
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- Cooked seasonal greens and grains (such as quinoa or brown rice), for serving (optional)

METHOD
Step 1: In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, mixed herbs, and garlic granules (if using). Spread the seasoning mixture onto a plate. Lightly coat each salmon fillet with olive oil, then roll in the seasoning to ensure an even coating.
Step 2: Place the salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. If using larger fillets, check for doneness after 10 minutes and continue cooking in 1-2 minute intervals as needed.
Serve with greens and quinoa or rice, if desired.
