HOW TO MAKE DOUBLE DUTCH BRAID: THE GORGEOUS HAIRSTYLE FOR YOU

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share a fun way to style double Dutch braids. This look is perfect for achieving that boho chic vibe!

Tools and materials:

  • Hair elastics
  • Bobby pins

1. DOUBLE DUTCH BRAIDS

Start by sectioning your hair down the middle. Begin a braid on one side, starting near the corner of your forehead.

As you braid, add small sections of hair to the two outer strands with each stitch.

Once you reach the back of your head, switch to a regular braid and continue down to the ends. Repeat this process on the other side.

Ensure that both braids are positioned identically on each side of your head.

You want to avoid having one braid close to your ear while the other is further back. Aim to keep each braid centered along the side of your head you’re working on.

2. WRAP AND PIN

Wrap the braids around each other at the nape of your neck to form a braided bun. As you wrap the braids, use bobby pins to secure the bun in place.

You’ll likely need plenty of bobby pins, so use them generously to ensure the bun stays securely in place.

3. DOUBLE DUTCH BRAID BUN

Now it’s finished. It’s that easy. How gorgeous is this?

I love this hairstyle because it’s so feminine! It’s also a fantastic way to give Dutch braids a more mature vibe.
