Did you know you can cook bacon in an air fryer? Let me show you how to make crispy, delicious bacon using this method.
Ingredients
- 11 slices of thick-cut bacon (I’m using Trader Joe’s brand)
Instructions
- Cut the bacon strips in half and arrange the first half in the air fryer in a single layer.
- Set the temperature to 400°F and the timer for 10 minutes (you may need less time if using thinner bacon).
- Check halfway through and rearrange the bacon with tongs if necessary.
- Continue cooking for the remaining time. For extra crispy bacon, I added 1.5 extra minutes, totaling 11.5 minutes for the perfect result. 👌🏻
- Use tongs to transfer the cooked bacon onto paper towels to absorb any excess grease.
Recipe Notes
- If you’re making multiple batches, remember to empty the bacon grease from the bottom of the air fryer basket before starting the next batch.
- Thick-cut bacon works best for this recipe, but if you’re using thinner cuts, keep a close eye on it and adjust the cooking time accordingly.
