GRILLED CHEESE CHAFFLE RECIPE

Grilled Cheese Keto Chaffles? Yes, please! I’ve tried all kinds of chaffle recipes, but this grilled cheese version is one I was especially excited to create.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices American cheese (or 1/4 cup shredded cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat your Dash Mini Waffle Maker.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, garlic powder, and shredded cheddar.
  • Once the waffle maker is hot, pour in half of the mixture and cook for 4 minutes. Remove and repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Place one chaffle in the pan, top with cheese, and place the second chaffle on top.
  • Cook for about 1 minute, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
  • Remove from the pan and enjoy!
