BAKED CHICKEN TENDERS

These baked chicken tenders are seasoned with a blend of spices and olive oil, using tenderloins for a juicy, flavorful bite. Best of all, they cook in just 10 minutes!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, combine all the spices and mix well.
  • Coat the chicken tenders with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly on both sides.
  • Place the chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

NOTES

  • Avoid overcooking the chicken to prevent it from becoming dry.
  • Be sure to season both sides of the chicken tenders for extra flavor.
  • For extra heat, increase the amount of cayenne pepper.
  • Let the chicken sit at room temperature for at least 20 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking compared to baking straight from the fridge.
