USING LEFTOVER ROAST BEEF 

Pot roast is a versatile dish that can be transformed into many delicious meals! Here are some creative ways to repurpose your leftover roast beef into tasty new recipes!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1–2 cups leftover pot roast
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 small can mushroom pieces
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp. beef bouillon powder
  • 5 Tbsp. dry milk

Instructions

  • Melt margarine in a large skillet and sauté the chopped onion until softened.
  • In a jar, combine flour, salt, pepper, and dry milk. Add water and shake well.
  • Stir the mixture into the sautéed onions and cook until it simmers and thickens.
  • Add the leftover roast beef, beef bouillon powder, and drained mushrooms.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until everything is heated through.
  • Serve over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes, or toast.
