Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1–2 cups leftover pot roast
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 small can mushroom pieces
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp. beef bouillon powder
- 5 Tbsp. dry milk
Instructions
- Melt margarine in a large skillet and sauté the chopped onion until softened.
- In a jar, combine flour, salt, pepper, and dry milk. Add water and shake well.
- Stir the mixture into the sautéed onions and cook until it simmers and thickens.
- Add the leftover roast beef, beef bouillon powder, and drained mushrooms.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until everything is heated through.
- Serve over noodles, rice, mashed potatoes, or toast.
