Ingredients
- 2 (40 ounce) cans yams
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Pour the yams into a casserole dish or oven-safe cookware.
- Drain the yams, saving ½ cup of liquid to pour back into the yams.
- Sprinkle the yams with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then mix well.
- Dot the top with butter.
