INGREDIENTS

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ tablespoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium chicken stock (or substitute with white wine)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or adjust to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with a kitchen towel, trim any excess fat, and set them aside. Allow the chicken to come to room temperature for even cooking.
  • Season the Chicken: In a small bowl, combine paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture onto the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  • For Oven-Baked Chicken Thighs: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the chicken thighs for about 30 minutes, checking with a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (73°C). Alternatively, cut into the thickest part of the chicken to ensure it is white and juices run clear.
