It’s been a while since we’ve dusted off our waffle maker, so today we’re bringing it back with these Easy Protein Waffles! This deliciously healthy breakfast tastes just like the real deal and only requires 5 simple ingredients you likely already have on hand.
To start, grab either a blender or a food processor. Don’t have one? No worries—here’s a link to the food processor we’ve been using for over a decade!
WHAT WE USED
- Waffle Maker
- Black & Decker Food Processor
- Blender
- Affordable Kitchen Scale

INGREDIENTS
- ½ Cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Large Whole Egg
- 1 Large Egg White
- ½ Cup Greek Yogurt (or Cottage Cheese)
- 1 Scoop Protein Powder (Your choice of flavor)
- ½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Sweetener (Optional)
- ½ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend or process all the ingredients together until smooth.
- Preheat your waffle maker and lightly coat it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour the batter into the waffle maker and cook until it indicates it’s ready (usually 2-3 minutes).
- Remove the waffle and repeat the process.
