SMOKED SALMON CROSTINI

These Smoked Salmon Crostini are a simple yet delicious snack or appetizer, ideal for any occasion! Whether it’s a baby shower, bridal shower, or holiday gathering, they’re sure to impress!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 baguettes (enough for 30-35 slices, about ¼ inch thick; pre-sliced if available)
  • Olive oil spray
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (not melted)
  • 1 small lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 8 oz cold smoked salmon

For Garnish

  • Capers
  • Fresh dill

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the baguette into ¼ to ½-inch slices, aiming for 30-35 slices, and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  • Lightly spray both sides of the slices with olive oil and bake for about 9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  • Remove the crostini from the oven and allow them to cool.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  • If desired, transfer the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag.
  • Once the crostini have cooled, arrange them on a serving platter.
  • Top each slice with a piece of smoked salmon.
  • Pipe a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each piece of salmon.
  • Garnish with capers and fresh dill.
  • Serve and enjoy!
