ORANGE CREAMSICLE SMOOTHIE (NO BANANA)

The Orange Creamsicle Smoothie is a refreshing, creamy treat made with just four simple ingredients. It captures the heavenly flavor of classic orange popsicles, but with fresh oranges and wholesome ingredients!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1½ cups freshly squeezed orange juice
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt (or plain yogurt)
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Squeeze the fresh orange juice.
  • Add orange juice, vanilla yogurt, coconut milk, sweetener, and ice cubes to a blender.
  • If using plain yogurt, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Blend until smooth and frothy. Avoid over-blending.
  • Pour into glasses and serve chilled.

NOTES

  • Oranges: Freshly squeezed orange juice provides the best flavor, but peeled oranges (2 medium or 1 large) can be used instead.
  • Coconut Milk: Chilled coconut milk works best. Coconut cream can be substituted for a thicker texture.
  • Yogurt: Use chilled yogurt. Replace with plain yogurt plus vanilla extract if desired. For a yogurt-free option, add a frozen banana for creaminess.
  • Sweetener: Maple syrup works well, but any preferred sweetener can be used.
  • Ice: Crushed ice or ice cubes create a thick and frothy texture. For added flavor, freeze coconut milk in an ice tray and use coconut ice cubes.
