INGREDIENTS
- 2 bone-in pork chops
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside the seasoning rub.
- Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel, then brush both sides with olive oil.
- Generously coat all sides of the pork chops with the seasoning rub. For extra crispiness, you can spritz the pork chops with olive oil spray.
- Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook for 10 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, flip the pork chops and continue cooking for an additional 4 minutes. They’re ready when the internal temperature reaches 145°F, measured at the thickest part of the chop using an instant-read thermometer.
- Let the pork chops rest for 10 minutes before serving with your favorite side dish.
