More often than not, my omelettes would turn out flat and not as fluffy as I wanted them to be. If you’ve ever experienced the same frustration, you’ll know how irritating it can be. So, I decided to give Gordon Ramsay’s omelette recipe a try, and thankfully, it put an end to all my omelette experiments!
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Beat the eggs in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and grease it with olive oil and butter.
- Pour the egg mixture into the preheated pan. As the edges of the omelette start to set, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top. Use a spatula to gently push the eggs toward the center.
- Fold one edge of the omelette across the middle, then fold the other edge over the first fold.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve immediately.
