CLUB SANDWICH RECIPE

This Club Sandwich Recipe is the ultimate summer meal, featuring deliciously stacked layers made with minimal ingredients and prepared in no time. Perfect for lunch or dinner, it’s sure to please everyone!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 slices of white bread, toasted
  • Mayonnaise, to taste
  • 1 slice of beefsteak tomato
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 slices of deli turkey
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of crispy bacon
  • 2 slices of deli ham
  • 1 leaf of green leaf lettuce

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place one slice of toasted bread on a plate and spread your desired amount of mayonnaise over the top.
  • Lay a slice of beefsteak tomato on the mayo and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add 2 slices of deli turkey, followed by 1 slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Break 1 slice of bacon in half and place it on top of the cheddar cheese.
  • Add another slice of toasted bread over the bacon. Spread mayo on this slice to your preference.
  • Layer 2 slices of deli ham on top of the mayo, followed by 1 leaf of green lettuce.
  • Break the remaining slice of bacon in half and place it over the lettuce.
  • Spread mayo on one side of the final slice of bread and place it mayo-side down to top off the sandwich.
  • Gently press down on the sandwich to compact it slightly, then cut it into triangles. Secure each section with a toothpick before serving.

NOTES

  • Avoid overloading any one ingredient (except the bread) to keep the sandwich manageable and easy to eat. Gently pressing the sandwich before cutting helps condense the layers.
  • Opt for thinner slices of bread to prevent the sandwich from becoming overly large or difficult to handle.
  • Feel free to customize the meats—switch plain turkey or ham for honey ham, peppered turkey, or other varieties.
  • For easier handling, leave the toothpicks in while eating and work around them before safely removing.
  • Swap white bread for any toasted bread of your choice to enhance texture and flavor.
