These Naked Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are a household favorite that I’ve made countless times. As one of my go-to air fryer recipes for meal prepping, this dish is incredibly versatile, quick, easy, and budget-friendly. Best of all, it’s ready in under 15 minutes!
EQUIPMENT
- 1 Air Fryer
INGREDIENTS
- 10 chicken tenders
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF for 5 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
- On a cutting board, remove the tendon from the chicken tenders and transfer them to a medium-sized bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken tenders and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the seasonings over the chicken and mix until fully coated.
- Arrange the seasoned chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400ºF for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through at the 5-minute mark. The tenders should turn golden brown and crispy.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165ºF. If needed, cook for a few more minutes.
- Serve the chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauces, such as BBQ, buffalo, or honey mustard.
NOTES
- These air fryer chicken tenders are quick and easy to prepare, taking just 15 minutes to achieve perfectly grilled, flavorful results.
- For crispy tenders, avoid using excess oil. Too much oil can make the chicken greasy and prevent proper crisping.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days for easy meal prep.
