BROWN BUTTER MAPLE COOKIE LATTE

Indulge in this rich Brown Butter Maple Cookie Latte, featuring the deep flavor of browned butter, smooth oat milk, vanilla, and cookie butter. Combined with cold brew coffee, it delivers a creamy, satisfying morning treat. Top it off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed chocolate chip cookies for a delightful crunch with each sip. A vegan option is also available for a plant-based version.

Ingredients

Latte:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (or vegan butter for a vegan option)
  • 1 tablespoon cookie butter (softened or melted)
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (or agave syrup)
  • ½ cup cold brew coffee
  • 1 ½ cups oat milk (store-bought or homemade, or your favorite plant-based milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Crushed ice

Garnish/ Toppings:

  • 2-3 chocolate chip cookies (crushed, homemade or store-bought)
  • Whipped cream (or coconut whipped cream for a vegan option)

Instructions

  • To Make the Brown Butter: In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter, stirring occasionally. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the butter turns a deep golden-brown and becomes fragrant. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • To Make the Latte: In a bowl, combine oat milk, cold brew coffee, vanilla, maple syrup, cookie butter, cooled brown butter, and cinnamon. Whisk everything together until smooth and well blended.
  • To Serve: Fill a 12 or 16-ounce glass with crushed ice. Pour the latte mixture over the ice until the glass is full. Top with whipped cream and, for an extra touch, sprinkle with crushed chocolate chip cookies.
