Ingredients
Apples:
- 6 sweet apples
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tsp coconut oil
For the Crumble:
- 2/3 cup oats
- 2/3 cup pecans
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp honey
Instructions
- Chop the apples and sauté them in a pan with the cinnamon, salt, and coconut oil over medium-high heat. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F.
- In a food processor, combine all crumble ingredients. Add about 1 tbsp of water and process until the mixture forms a crumbly texture that sticks together.
- Grease a small baking pan or line it with parchment paper. Spread the sautéed apples evenly in the pan. Then, form larger crumble pieces and scatter them on top of the apples.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly, then enjoy with dairy-free milk or yogurt for breakfast, or with ice cream for a healthier dessert!
