AIR FRYER CHICKEN THIGHS – SUPER CRISPY!

Grab those bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs from the fridge and whip up these crispy air fryer chicken thighs tonight! In less than 30 minutes, you’ll have a tasty, family-friendly dinner ready to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs, trimmed of excess fat and skin
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for 5 minutes. Once preheated, spray with cooking spray if desired.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a large zip-top bag or a bowl with a lid. Add the kosher salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and onion powder. Shake well to coat the chicken.
  • Remove the chicken thighs from the bag or bowl and arrange them in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Cook for 12 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken thighs skin side up and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes. For extra crispy skin, continue cooking in 4-minute increments until the desired crispiness is achieved.
  • The chicken is ready when a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reads 165°F. Cooking time may vary based on the size of your chicken thighs and the wattage of your air fryer.
