HOW TO MAKE PAPRIKA

7 large sweet peppers

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Prepare the Peppers: Rinse the sweet peppers thoroughly. Using a knife, remove the stalks and slice the peppers as thinly as possible.
  • Set Up for Drying: Place a grill mesh mat on an oven rack and arrange the sliced peppers evenly on top.
  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 85°C (185°F) and let it warm up for 15 minutes.
  • Dehydrate: Place the peppers in the oven and dry them for 3 to 8 hours, checking occasionally until they are completely dehydrated.
  • Grind into Powder: Once the peppers have cooled to room temperature, blend them into a fine powder using a blender or spice grinder.
  • Store: Transfer your homemade paprika to an airtight glass jar and enjoy adding fresh, natural flavor to your dishes!
