INGREDIENTS

  • 2 black tea bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf tea)
  • 1 ripe mango (or frozen mango cubes)
  • 4 cups water (divided)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Ice
  • Mango slices (optional, for garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Brew the Tea: In a large pitcher, steep the tea bags in 2 cups of boiled water for about 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and set aside.
  • Prepare the Mango Base: In a saucepan, combine the diced mango and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango into a puree as it softens.
  • Strain and Sweeten: Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea, discarding the pulp. Stir in the honey until well combined.
  • Cool and Serve: Let the tea cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator. Serve over ice, garnished with fresh mango slices if desired.

Enjoy a refreshing taste of tropical paradise in every sip!
