INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4 average-sized breasts)
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning or Salute Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts, seasoning with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning.
  • Cook the chicken without disturbing it for about 5 minutes, until it develops a golden brown color. Flip the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.
  • Once cooked through, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it on a plate to rest.
  • To deglaze the skillet, add the chicken broth or wine and bring the liquid to a boil for a few seconds.
  • Add the butter and stir until melted, then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, turning off the heat. Coat the chicken in the garlic butter sauce, mixing well.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
