QUICK CAN CANDIED YAMS

Ingredients

  • 2 (40 ounce) cans yams
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

  • Pour the yams into a casserole dish or oven-safe cookware.
  • Drain the yams, saving ½ cup of liquid to pour back into the yams.
  • Sprinkle the yams with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then mix well.
  • Dot the top with butter.
  • Place in a preheated 350°F oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy!
