  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Arrange the cheese balls on a cookie sheet and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your deep fryer to 350°F while the balls are chilling.
  • Prepare three separate bowls:
    • Bowl 1: Add the flour.
    • Bowl 2: Whisk together the egg and milk.
    • Bowl 3: Mix the bread crumbs with cayenne pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • Coat each cheese ball by rolling it first in the flour, then dipping it into the egg mixture, and finally covering it with the seasoned bread crumbs.

  • Remove from the fryer and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes
Shredding cheese from blocks works best, as it helps the Rattlesnake Bites hold their shape better.
