HEALTHY TUNA PASTA SALAD

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ lb whole grain pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cans Wild Selections Solid White Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons basil, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  • While the pasta cooks, halve the cherry tomatoes and place them in a bowl with tuna, parsley, basil, and spices.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, drain it immediately and rinse with cold water to cool.
  • Toss the cooled pasta with the tuna mixture, tomatoes, and olive oil. Add the lemon juice for a fresh kick.
