These Air Fryer Candied Pecans are a quick and easy fall treat! Sweet, cinnamon-spiced, and perfectly crunchy, they’re delicious on their own or as a topping for ice cream, oatmeal, or salads.
EQUIPMENT
- Air Fryer
- Mixing Bowl
- Parchment Paper
INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2 cups pecan halves (8 oz)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt

INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, maple syrup, and water until fully combined.
- Add the pecans and toss well with a wooden spoon or spatula, ensuring they are evenly coated. Set aside.
- Line the bottom of the air fryer with parchment paper, then spread the pecans in a single layer. Air fry at 350°F for 3 minutes.
- Open the basket, stir the pecans, and continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes until the coating is crisp.
- Transfer the pecans to a parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading them out to prevent clumping. While still warm, sprinkle with extra brown sugar if desired.
- Let them cool completely before enjoying!
NOTES
- Don’t skip the parchment paper! These candied pecans can get sticky, making cleanup difficult. Using parchment keeps the mess contained.
- Experiment with flavors by swapping cinnamon for pumpkin pie spice or other warm spices.
- Perfect for gifting! Package them in a jar with a festive ribbon for a delicious homemade treat.
