This simple, no-boil lasagna recipe combines three types of cheese for an irresistible flavor! Just grab your favorite jar of marinara sauce to keep things quick and effortless!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound ground beef
- 48 ounces marinara sauce (your favorite)
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese (or cottage cheese)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded asiago cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- 12 lasagna noodles
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off any excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, ½ cup of mozzarella, asiago cheese, ½ cup of provolone cheese, eggs, ½ cup grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, salt, and ground pepper. Mix well.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Spread ¾ cup of sauce at the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Arrange 3 uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Top with ⅓ of the cheese mixture and ¼ of the sauce.
- Repeat layers: noodles, cheese mixture, and sauce.
- Finish with 3 noodles on top, followed by the remaining sauce and ½ cup of mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10 minutes.
- Let the lasagna stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
