MILLION DOLLAR CHICKEN CASSEROLE

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 ounces spaghetti noodles (1 package)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups grated mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 2 ½ cups shredded chicken (use leftover, rotisserie, or cooked chicken)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease your baking dish.
  • Cook the spaghetti in boiling water for about 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella, parmesan, chicken, half & half, and spices. Mix well until fully combined.
  • Spread half of the cooked spaghetti in the baking dish, followed by half of the cheesy sauce mixture.
  • Add another layer of spaghetti, then top with the remaining sauce mixture.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Afterward, remove the foil and broil for 2-4 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
