INGREDIENTS
For the Sliders:
- 2 lbs. chicken tenders (boneless chicken breasts or thighs work too)
- 1 pack Hawaiian slider buns or dinner rolls
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Sweet Baby Ray’s Golden Mustard (or honey mustard as a substitute)
- 8 strips crispy bacon, cooked
- Colby Jack cheese (enough slices for all sliders)
- ½ head lettuce, chopped
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 4-5 tablespoons oil (for marinating and cooking the chicken)
For the Blackened Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika (or regular)
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
For the Butter Topping:
- ½ stick butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

INSTRUCTIONS
- Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken tenders in a large zip-top bag or bowl.
- Add several tablespoons of blackened seasoning and a few tablespoons of oil.
- Toss to coat evenly, ensuring all pieces are well-seasoned.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil, or preheat a grill.
- Cook the chicken for about 3 minutes per side, flipping only once, until fully cooked.
- Prepare the Butter Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, parsley, and minced garlic.
- Microwave for about 30 seconds until melted, then stir to combine.
- Toast the Buns:
- If needed, slice the slider buns in half using a serrated knife.
- Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet and toast under the broiler for a few minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the top buns over so their domed sides face up, leaving them on the same pan.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom buns.
- Evenly distribute the cooked chicken tenders over the buns.
- Drizzle with golden honey mustard, then layer cheese slices on top.
- Final Toasting:
- Spread the butter mixture over the top buns.
- Return the baking sheet to the broiler for another 1-2 minutes, until the cheese softens and the top buns are slightly toasted.
- Add Fresh Toppings & Serve:
- Top each slider with crispy bacon, tomato slices, red onion, and lettuce.
- Drizzle with more honey mustard if desired.
- Place the top buns over the sliders, slice to separate, and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
