“Lazy Sunday Pasta” is ideal for those slow Sundays! It’s super easy to prepare: just make the pasta sauce in the oven, give it a quick stir, toss in some tagliatelle, and voilà—dinner’s ready!
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams cherry tomatoes
- 400 grams fresh tagliatelle
- 2 cream cheeses with herbs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 level tablespoon Hot & Spicy Spice Mix
- 1 tablespoon Italian Herb Mix
- Fresh basil
- Olive oil
- Parmesan cheese
- Salt
Supplies:
- Casserole dish
- Grater
- StrongInTheKitchen Spatula Set
Handy to Have:
- Herb pots
- Cookbook stand
- Kitchen apron
- Cutting boards
- Chef’s knife
PREPARATION METHOD
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 210°C (410°F).
Step 2: Place the herb cheeses in an oven dish and add the cherry tomatoes. Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves with a knife (avoid using a garlic press to prevent burning). Sprinkle the chopped garlic over the tomatoes. Add the Italian Herb Mix and Hot & Spicy Herb Mix over the herb cheeses. Season the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and drizzle olive oil over everything. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
Step 3: Cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta, leaving it slightly moist to prevent it from becoming dry and sticky.
Step 4: After baking, most of the cherry tomatoes should be roasted. Gently press any remaining tomatoes to help them roast further (be cautious, as they’ll be hot). Use a silicone spatula to mix everything into a creamy pasta sauce.
Step 5: Toss the tagliatelle into the creamy pasta sauce. Serve the Lazy Sunday Pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves. Buon Appetito!
