Korean banana milk, or ‘banana uyu’ (바나나 우유), is a beloved drink in Korea, famously produced by Binggrae, a renowned food and beverage company. This homemade version, made with fresh bananas, milk, sugar, and water, offers a taste that’s just as delicious, if not even better, than the store-bought variety!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 large banana (ripe with spots, peeled)
- ¾ cup ice-cold milk
- ⅓ cup ice-cold water
- 1 to 3 teaspoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
- Garnish with a banana slice and serve immediately, as separation may occur over time. Enjoy!
