HOW TO MAKE PROTEIN COFFEE

Looking to add a protein boost to your mornings? Whether you’re not a big breakfast eater or just need a quick dose of nutrition to start your day, mixing protein powder into your coffee is a fantastic option!

Protein coffee has been my favorite morning drink for years, and for good reason. It keeps me feeling satisfied, tastes absolutely delicious with a smooth and frothy texture, and gives me a head start on high-quality protein before I even think about breakfast!

CAN YOU PUT PROTEIN POWDER IN COFFEE?

Absolutely! However, stirring it in with a spoon, like you would with regular creamer, isn’t the best approach. For the smoothest, creamiest result, I recommend using a blender. Blending ensures your coffee is frothy and free of any clumps.

WHAT DOES PROTEIN COFFEE TASTE LIKE?

Protein coffee tastes similar to your regular cup of coffee but with a hint of added flavor—much like using flavored powdered creamer.

You can experiment with various flavors, but my go-to options are vanilla or chocolate protein powder. I’ve also tried coconut and cinnamon roll-flavored protein powders, and they’re absolutely delicious!

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 oz freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1 scoop of high-quality protein powder (vanilla or chocolate recommended)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Pour the hot coffee into a blender, then add the protein powder.
  • Blend for about 30 seconds, until the protein powder is fully dissolved and the coffee turns foamy.
  • Transfer to your favorite mug, add cream if desired, and enjoy!
