EASY 30 MINUTE DINNER ROLLS

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 2-5 minutes to proof.
  • Add the oil, salt, egg, and flour (one cup at a time) to the mixture. Use the stand mixer to mix until everything is well combined. Let the mixer knead the dough for about 4 minutes. The dough will be soft, so avoid adding too much flour, as it can make the rolls dense. You want just enough flour to handle the dough without it being too sticky.
  • Lightly spray your hands with baking spray, then shape the dough into 15 individual balls.
  • Place the dough balls in the prepared 9×13-inch pan and cover with a dish towel.
  • Set the pan on top of the preheating oven to allow the dough to rise as the oven heats.
  • Once the oven reaches 375°F, bake the rolls for 20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
