Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon is a tasty and easy way to elevate your salmon dish! The sweet brown sugar glaze perfectly complements the light, flaky texture of the fish. It’s simple to prepare for a weeknight dinner, and the kids will love it too!
Equipment
- Whisk
- Broiler pan (I recommend this one!)
- Small bowl (I love using glass mixing bowls)
- Cooking spray (I use olive oil spray for this recipe)
Ingredients
- ¼ cup (50 g) packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 4 (6-ounce) boneless salmon fillets
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and position the oven rack at the highest setting.
- Lightly coat the broiler pan rack with cooking spray.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared broiler pan and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and Dijon mustard. Spread the mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillets.
- Bake the salmon for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Then, switch your oven to the broil setting and broil for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the glaze is golden and caramelized.
