INGREDIENTS
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 cup flour
- 5 cups corn flakes cereal, crushed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the chicken strips in a medium-sized bowl and add the flour. Toss to coat evenly.
- In a large bowl, combine the crushed corn flakes, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dip each flour-coated chicken strip into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then roll it generously in the cornflake mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Arrange the chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through.
- While the chicken bakes, prepare the honey BBQ sauce. In a small saucepan, combine BBQ sauce, honey, and ketchup. Heat over medium-low for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and let it cool for 3-4 minutes. Pour the warm honey BBQ sauce over the chicken and toss to coat.
- Serve the chicken strips immediately.
