INGREDIENTS

  • 5 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Prepare your Crock Pot, setting it to low (6 hours) or high (3 hours).
  • Place the chicken thighs in an even layer on the bottom of the Crock Pot.
  • Combine the seasonings and sprinkle them evenly over the chicken thighs.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, soy sauce, and garlic. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  • Place the butter slices on top of the chicken thighs.
  • Cover and cook on your chosen setting.
  • Serve warm with a side of fresh white rice and a salad.

NOTES

Store any leftover chicken thighs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
