  • Continue making 1 tr in each chain until the last stitch, then make 1 double treble crochet (dtr) into the last chain. Turn.

Border:

  • Along the first side of the headband, make 1 ch, and work (1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dc) into the base of the first stitch.
  • Skip 2 tr, and in the next tr, work (1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dc). Repeat from * to * until you reach the last 2 tr and the turning chain.

To assemble the flower, roll it up starting with the first petal and secure the petals by sewing around the back using the loose yarn.

Finishing:
Weave in and trim all loose ends on both the headband and flower. Attach a button to the end of the headband where the turning chain is, using the space created by the dtr as a buttonhole. Sew the rose flower to the headband.
