Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower head
- Salt, to taste
- ½ tsp garlic powder (or garlic paste)
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- 4 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower head into 1-inch thick steak slices (avoid cutting into small florets). Set aside any leftover cauliflower for later use.
- Mix the garlic powder, turmeric, onion powder, cumin powder, and salt with the oil until you achieve a paste-like consistency.
- Use a food-basting brush (like an OXO brush) to apply the paste evenly onto both sides of each cauliflower steak.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place the cauliflower steaks in the air fryer basket or tray and cook for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
