This homemade Maple Pecan Latte is even better than Starbucks and surprisingly easy to whip up!
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp ground coffee
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 cups boiling water
- 3 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp maple extract
Instructions
- Combine the coffee, pecans, and cinnamon in a French press, then pour in the boiling water.
- Let it steep for 10 minutes before pressing.
- In a medium saucepan over low-medium heat, melt the butter until browned.
- Stir in the brown sugar and milk, allowing the mixture to heat and the sugar to dissolve completely.
- Remove from heat and mix in the maple extract. Froth the milk mixture until creamy.
- Fill each cup halfway with the brewed coffee and top it with the frothy milk mixture.
- Optional: Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for a perfect finish.
